17:20:12 Evacuees helped from barge & walk past camera, women & children, wounded from Singapore & Sumatra. Harbor police & St. Johns Ambulance volunteer women receive them. Stretchers w/ wounded men carried past camera, loaded into truck. Given cigarette. Other walking wounded w/ packs & rifles up stairs & on jetty talking. Group of Chinese guerrillas w/ rifles & bags, one Chinese woman.
