Gold Fever - short silent comedy (shot in pixilated style) God prospector bushwhacks through woods with pan and pick in hand - Native American village with teepees - Indian exits teepee, walks to fire - cu painted face, head piece with horns - calls others come out of teepees - group gathers round fire, smoke pipe - cu painted faces intercut with woman riding horse bareback and naked - people dancing, bare breasted woman - quick cut of eyes, teeth, snake - tattoo: “mom” - prospector find place to pan for gold, freaks out, runs through woods - man walks back and forth guarding road with a clothespin, tries to stop prospector - crowd of bizarre characters pushes walks over him, dog walks by, more strange characters - young men dressed as Native Americans smoke pipe, climb tree - bare-breasted native woman - Indians walk around camp, crossing back and forth - prospector enters camp followed by group of bizarre characters - all converge at brook, bedlam ensues, all collapse - cu pipe with smoke, cu man with mustache exhales smoke - “end” Counter Culture; Youth rebellion; Communes; Hippies; Native American; 1970s Staged Fiction; Oddities;
