NOTE: Richard Dupont, as Special Assistant to Gen. Hap Arnold he was in charge of AAF glider program but was killed 11Sep43 as a passenger in a XCG-16 glider that crashed. He bailed out but his parachute failed to open. Three others died in the crash.
