The Stoker R7 of 8 Martin & Margarita argue; he accuses her of taking advantage of him. 16:15:13 Margarita onto terrace for breakfast w/ Uncle. “Tell me what is wrong?” She cries. Martin comes in & says he’s leaving. “Can’t you see I love you?” “Isn’t that a bit of an after thought?” 16:16:40 He leaves, rides off. Stopped by rider saying “bandits”. Workers at barn warned; he warns Margarita that bandits are coming. 16:18:23 Santini bandits riding down hill. Margarita gets into open touring car and drives after Martin. Bandits spot Martin & start shooting, chase. POV from in front of the chase. Margarita gets to him and he jumps into car & takes over driving and they get away. Back at house. 16:21:24 Martin on phone: “Get me the United States Headquarters at Managua, quickly”. 16:21:40 Marine at switchboard answers. Telephon wire is cut. Fighting begins. Martin sends Eclipse w/ note to American commander in Managua. “See that horse out there, get on it & ride to Managua. And step on it!” Eclipse then chased by bandits on horseback.
