Group of pioneers from Guinea Bissau in uniforms w/ Cabral portrait on them, introduce themselves, show a little dance, salute. 21:22:47 High angle sea view w/ ships in water, reverse shot of camp houses. Georgian girls music ensemble perform song about children of the world (SOF). Shots of sea, ship filled w/ pioneers, kids wave, high angle mountains. Children in museum, look at various sculptures. 21:24:45 Story alley, Pioneers gather next to big wood sculptures & huge wood crafted gates. Girls in flower garden play ancient stringed instruments - Gusla, shot of small goldfish in the pool. Children walk around wooden city, pose for group photo, CU smiling girls faces. Tilt up cliffs w/ rock columns on top, yacht in the water. 21:26:19 High angle camp square, friendship celebration evening, African youngsters demonstrate national dance, children dressed in national dresses watch. Kids make various size rocket models, put them on stands & fire up in the air, all look up point at their rockets, catch little parachutes. 21:30:03 Pioneers make big drawings on asphalt featuring peace & international friendship. Children write letters, postcard & place them in painted bottles. All pioneers w/ bottles in hand on board yacht, throw them in sea; shots of bottles floating in the water. 21:31:56 Pioneer delegates, who are on their 1st visit to Artek, from each country plant a tree and put a little sign w/ their country next to it. Seascape w/ beautiful sea view w/ floating boats, rocks. 21:32:56 US girl Terri, congratulated by other pioneers on her birthday, all give kisses, hug, two boys pick up Terri on their shoulders, all applaud, sit at big celebration table, share a cake, sing “Killing me softly”, CU children around the table, all hold hands around each other & sing. High angle various nation flags over sea view.
