Brother Grimm’s fairy tale told w/ wooden puppets on strings / marionettes & amusing voices - Hansel & Gretel beg mother for food, father back w/ nothing. 20:12:42 Children lost in creepy woods looking for food - kids sleep as forest creature puppets come to life inc. flower w/ human face, fairies & angel. 20:15:15 Kids wake up & lured to witch’s edible cottage - witch puppet takes them inside - flies away on broomstick cackling. Hansel locked in cage to fatten up. 20:21:13 Gretel pushes witch into oven. Talking swan gives children a ride home. Hansel & Gretel arrive home w/ witch’s gold.
