17:00:49 HA Looking forward between USS BULLARD (DD-660) & BUNKER HILL; fuel lines rigged. MS line released from forcastle of BULLARD & hauled in aboard the carrier.
17:01:48 MS PAN F4U Corsair fighter aircraft landing; strikes barricades & noses over; island in the BG (slow-motion). MS F4U lands past camera, hits barricades & noses over; falls back onto wheels w/ smoke rising from plane (slow-motion). Another lands & up onto nose & back down.
17:04:55 HA of TBF Avenger torpedo bomber in water, partially submerged alongside ship; pilot & gunner out of plane. Plane sinks.
17:05:17 F4U hits aircraft carrier deck, crashes into barricades; comes into CU as it strikes barricades in the FG & noses over. Very GOOD.
17:06:46 MS F4U hits deck l. to r, strikes barricades, noses over & stays on nose; crewmen run out to plane.
17:08:15 MCU Secretary of Navy Knox shaking hands with several VIPs, w/ US Ambassador to England Winant in foreground; gets inside car. On airfield tarmac. MCU Admiral Harold Stark & Knox shaking hands. LA CU Knox entering transport plane; pan to MS to STARK, WILLIAMS, & VINING waving goodby. MS transport taxiing down runway.
