Again Pioneers (1950) 2/7 Continued... Man into clean gleaming kitchen, wife cooking. Talk about kids from Patch going to town school and evening meeting. Daughter (Sally Keeler) at young people’s church group and social work. Sally comes in, is youth group representative at tonight’s meeting in support of the Patch people. 01:13:30 Malcolm comes in complaining about migrants’ car out front. 01:14:0? People come in for meeting, woman tells Mr. Keeler a lot of people won’t be going along with him. Doctor speaks against presence of The Patch people. Man in audience wants to pass the resolution; woman speaks also for it. 01:16:30 Sally asks if more teachers could be hired; woman jumps up and says it would cost too much. Sally speaks and says its Un-Christian. Sanctimonious Col. Garnet (?) leading citizen of the town speaks and want to erase The Patch and turn it into a park. Calls for a vote on the resolution to keep kids out of school and to take all necessary steps to solve the problem. They amended for Mr. Keeler to look into it and report back in two weeks.
