Again Pioneers (1950) 5/7 Continued... Looking at new housing development from hilltop, pan over houses w/o trees etc. No churches as guy points out. People are losing the spiritual basis of the American Dream. Church is at the forefront of the these new developments. Missionary says they are attacking suspicion, fear, race etc. as a means of solving problems.They walk thru a community center with classes. 01:43:1? Driving and talking. Construction of church. Montage of carpentry, people, churches. Mr. Keeler drops missionary off. His son Kenny and migrant boy Nathanial meet Sally & mother and dad comes in; talks to Nathanial. 01:47:4? Kid play with baseball bat. Other kids come over but don’t want to play with Nathanial & get in argument. Kenny’s older brother comes out and throws Nathanial out. Sally and Dad come out.
