08:02:16 US flag on pole by sandbagged position next to river.
08:02:40 House w/ muddy yard, Vietnamese soldiers hold small pig for slaughtering.
08:02:48 Slate: 21Feb??. US Marine in foxholes; firing LAAWs (bazookas?) across river. Equipment yard & parked trucks. Small tracked vehicle (M-50 Ontos) w/ multiple mounted 106 RR driven past & firing across river.
08:04:43 Large CH46A helicopter overhead. Tracked vehicle w/ rockets past; firing across river.
08:05:29 Slate: 21Feb??. Fork lift moving crates & loading on large tractor trailer truck. Landing craft LCM 1482 w/ front dropped on riverbank, partially sunk w/ damage from fire seen. Fuel tank truck & trailer w/ crates out of yard.
08:06:58 Marine running w/ M-16 rifle, firing from behind tree on riverbank; others join & shooting; work forward to riverbank front & trench. GOOD. One-legged boy on small crutches.
08:08:21 Slate: 21Feb?? USN Seabees, Navy military engineers w/ large pile driver beside collapsed bridge; people looking across. One-legged boy gesturing to come; MP laughs, Vietnamese women watch. Truck loaded w/ troops & empty truck past tank. Crane placing piles & pile driver sinking piles as Vietnamese wash clothes on opposite bank. Pan to temporary bridge crossing w/ military vehicles & pedestrians across. Men work on pile driver.
