12:20:04 AtoG MS Down over jungle area; F-8E comes into scene momentarily from bottom strafing Viet Cong position; plane banks to left & continues over hilly terrain. AtoA MLS F-8E in flight banking left; F-8E in center of scene, moves in for attack & begins strafing jungle as it loses altitude; no hits seen; F-8E banks to left & climbs.
AtoA A-4C formation returning to USS BON HOMME RICHARD (CVA-31) after strike; four aircraft in view.
12:21:51 AtoG MS Looking down over strike area; an A-4C is flying low & far ahead of camera aircraft & over the river heading for Viet Cong position; aircraft continues flying low and down river; ball of flame (Napalm) explodes off to left of river as camera plane almost misses it; camera aircraft flies down length of river; A-4C pulls out steeply. More of same.
12:23:59 AtoG MLS Sharp bank over jungle area; PAN off to left picking up F-8E as it fires a few rockets into jungle growth; hits seen. Two more rockets are sent towards the jungle area & other explosions seen. F-8E pulls out of scene; smoke rises from jungle area as camera aircraft pulls out sharply.
12:24:45 MCU F8E in flight directly ahead of camera aircraft; F8E begins strafing jungle area ahead; pull-out is then made by the F8E; smoke rises from jungle in FG; PAN up w/ F8E climbing up into the clouds.
12:25:28 AtoA MS F8E strafing Viet Cong position in jungle; F8E pulls out steeply; camera aircraft pulls up.
