Convoy enters town - good shot of half-track troop carrier pulling heavy gun. Ukrainian civilians milling around town square. Woman giving salt and bread to Nazi officer as sign of hospitality; others smiling. Top shot town almost completely destroyed by bombing. Locals pull down Communist banner, Soviet flag, & bust of Stalin.
