Operations room & board; supplies of explosives & weapons prepared in containers along w/ food, etc. Taken to airfield. 20:53:23 Felix & locals discuss weather delay. London operations & assigning planes for air drop, loading canisters. Radio antenna; MCU listening to table radios. 20:55:28 Aerial of bomber. Group waiting in field, eating bread & cheese w/ wine bottle. Plane heard, signaling w/ lights & containers parachuted. Men gather & carry off parachutes & containers; hide in barn. Move food, rifles to various locations & hide. Brenn gun hauled in wood, stopped & checked by police. 20:59:48 Aircraft in flight, radar antenna guides in from field & containers drop, gathered. 21:00:30 Town scene, Germans in van w/ direction finding station, finds Cat’s location & two men sent, up stairs & run in w/ pistols as she’s listening to phonograph asking for papers. Search room & leave. Cat unpacks telegraph from inside phonograph. 21:02:52 Montage: CU Felix tag for drop mission; containers w/ parachutes descend. Felix w/ new group; plane in searchlights; pilot; plane downed; men waiting in field go home. 21:03:43 Cat in attic setting up radio - telegraph & transmitting. Felix drinking in bar w/ Frenchmen. 21:04:44 Locomotives / engines outside railyard roundhouse w/ German sentry. Place explosive charge, explosions. 21:05:36 CU hand knocking on door, Felix invites man in - exchange passwords; drink toast & asks Felix to find landing field to evacuate wounded agent. Felix on small motorcycle on country road, checks field. Messages exchanged. Westland Lysander Mk III in flight, signaled from field, landing & agent loaded along w/ messages, take off, new agents arrived & meeting, burn message. 21:10:10 Night, German sentry patrolling ext of factory inside walled complex; agents enter & knockout night watchman, then run downstairs & thru factory to set fire beside explosive cases, carry watchman outside, then run. LS burning factory. 21:12:10 Day & men while looking moved on by German soldier. 21:12:36 Simulated RAF night bombing of remainder of factory, watched by Felix; bomber shot down. Damaged factory shots. 21:13:33 Shoot out between Germans & man sending telegraph message. CU snare drum, Frenchman in village reads out announcement of 7pm curfew to several locations. 21:14:14 Night shots of empty streets w/ German Gestapo in cars arriving to make arrests, agents escaping out windows & over roofs, arrest in street. 21:15:19 Felix & another waiting in farmhouse, Cat arrives w/ downed pilot; discuss how to get he & crew out.
