07:40:21 Family eating dinner, passing food; CU of table & food. MCUs faces. Bill can’t enjoy it like his parents & sister, he has stomach ache from not eating properly during the day.
07:41:10 Bill in room trying to play w/ train set - mother puts him to bed.
07:42:30 Flashback to Bill late to breakfast, gulps down orange juice, cereal, eggs & bacon; rushes off to school.
07:43:43 Bill into school lunch room, CU gobbling sandwich so he can go out to play.
07:44:15 Bill out of candy store after school drinking soda pop; having spent his lunch money on junk - signs for Eskimo Pie & Coca-Cola - MCU gulps down soda & stuffs all his candy into his mouth, then eats some cookies.
07:44:51 Bill at supper picking at food & yawning. Bill in bed, mother turns out light. Nightmare / dream sequence - Bill tosses & turns in bed looking scared as plates of half-eaten food, sweets, & a stomach appear superimposed in mid-air while narrator says its his bad eating habits.
07:46:02 Bill gets up in morning, stretches, puts on robe then down to breakfast. Bill, grinning broadly now, takes tiny sips of his orange juice & milk, & chops up bacon into tiny pieces - VO “doesn’t it taste extra good that way!” Family smiling.
07:48:14 Bill walking to school; in class, notices clock - 11:00 - still not hungry! Looking increasingly demented, Bill sits down to enjoy his lunch “slowly” then skips to the water fountain for a drink.
07:49:03 Mother gives him snack of crackers & milk after school, then he goes out for some “hard play” - flying kite w/ friends.
