Sign on building: Army Arctic Training Center, Big Delta. Tilt-up to observation tower. 05:53:25 Int of hangar. A prefab plywood igloo from Finland is already set up for testing. Men in parkas enter igloo carrying rucksacks. 05:53:51 Slate: same. Two men unpack on top of boughs on floor, blow up / inflate rubber mattresses, put sleeping bags on top of them. 05:54:48 Ext, men finish erecting prefabricated plywood igloo for testing. CU tightening wing-nuts. Put hood over center of top. 05:55:51 Slate: 11Apr52 Camera: Henry. Men carry equipment & pine boughs into igloo. 05:56:29 Men carrying rucksacks start out on trail.
