Nick’s Uncle Angelo says how bad Nick is & he should be whipped. Mother & Uncle argue w/ Nick as Jo Jo grimaces; she says she forgives him which angers him. She tries to give him $5 of “my own money”. He doesn’t want it. Refuses to take it, throws water (?) on Jo Jo who runs out crying. Her voice over says how sorry she is feeling for herself. Walks thinking. 12:51:20 Knocks on Mr. Dobson’s door, says she has decided to prosecute Nick. Dobson asks why. They discuss. Dobson asks “I wonder what Jesus would have done in Nick’s case”.
