Oil pan fitted; transmission added. Finished motor moved to another conveyor belt. 13:18:24 Cut-away of pistons & crankshaft in engine operating. 13:18:30 LS down motor assembly line. Finishing attaching water pump & carburetor to V-8 motor. Fitting spark plugs & wire harness. Transmission & universal joint fitted. 13:19:38 Testing motor on test stand in laboratory, gages. 13:20:05 River Rouge factory; & forming presses. Chassis parts assembled on assembly line. Train pulling cars out of plant w/ chassis parts tightly stacked. Two men moving sheet steel into press to form side panels & roof tops, etc. CU pushing button of machine. Removing finished part. CU. Welding parts; drilling w/ multiple drills. Assembling automobile sedan bodies; then fitting over chassis & spot welding w/ arc welders. (GOOD). 13:23:19 Grind welds while body is moving on assembly line. Hand rubbing & polishing; painting by hand on assembly line. diagram of plant. 13:24:00 Glass rolling on conveyor and inspected. Cutting for windows. Safety glass assembled, inspected. 13:24:50 V-8 motors fitted into chassis. & radiator attached; front grill & fenders. Lights fitted. Wheels w/ tires fitted.
