Crane w/ large electric magnet moving scrap iron & pig iron. MCU of crane operator. CU of hands. CU of scale. Man running machine to add limestone & coke into the furnace in buckets.
21:45:06 Hot metal moved, poured into carrier on conveyor run by man in cab taking to the pouring ladles. Men move ladles & pour into molds for motor block or other castings. CU Black workers.
21:48:05 Cafeteria serving workers; locker room & men washing up. Showering at end of day. Pipes to change air in plant every 12 minutes. Pumping water that cleans air; shovels empty out the dirt & water is recycled.
21:49:27 Shaking machine removes castings which go outdoors to cool. Machines automatically cleaning, grinding & polishing the castings. Rolls into place. V-8 test block looked at for planning new plant.
Trailers of six cylinder blocks to assembly plant. Moved thru 96 ft long broach at 152 pieces an hour.

21:53:27 Crankshafts placed automatically on conveyor. Pistons roll down to belt. Various men working at different machines. Adjusting and setting.
