Radar turning. Shot over Boston bow w/ coast. Whale boat Rival pitching, w/ crew, while tied up to boat arm, seas rough.

08:07:32 Perry Cubmarine returning to Boston in rough water, utility boat behind. Crew in rubber raft to bow of Perry, man in wetsuit on tower. Line from rubber raft to Perry. Hook dropped & attached to Perry and lifted aboard USS Boston w/ man on top. Placed on deck and man out of front, second man out of rear hatch.

NOTE: On 17Jan66 a SAC B-52 carrying four B28 thermonuclear (hydrogen) bombs collided in mid-air w/ KC-135 tanker while refueling. 3 bombs were found on shore, high explosives in two had detonated on impact scattering plutonium dust over several hundred acres. After 80 days the fourth bomb was found.
