The rocket motor section is placed on the launch rail by a crane. 07:05:12 Nose section hanging from crane; CUs, men around site as nose lifted from pickup truck & put ont fork-lift; then MS positioned onto rocket body by the fork lift. 07:06:41 MCU Assembled inert rocket. LS men down off support structure. 07:07:18 MS Mockup fuselage below; the MB1 Ding Dong aka Genie rocket is fired seen from ground behind & LS from behind but higher away in flight against sky, explosion & cloud rising, if seen is over-exposed. LS across desert & small cloud of dust rising. 07:08:35 Aerial over area of impact point in the range area w/ wreckage seen w/ small crater. 07:09:01 Men beside fuselage mockup inspecting the mounting & locations of temperature pick-up & strain gauges. CUs & MSs. Testing MB-1 rocket firing; 21Oct55; 1955; NOTE: Was test for nuclear weapon which was only detonated once, 19Jul57, in Operation Plumbob over Yucca Flats. NOTE: Sold at per reel rate.
