Slate: Roll 1 Visit - 1st CCO Nicol 14Sep44 Mediterranean Allied Air Forces / MAAF Officers (2-star & 3-star, probably General Ira Eaker) off plane, greeted by ?? w/ distinctive arm band. Various officers & one civilian introduced & handshaking (may include Constantin Sanatescu?) on grassy field.

22:22:21 Many officers in front of 4-engine B-24 (?). Motorcade of sedans w/ US fender flags past Rolls Royce & aircraft w/ tail number 48126.

22:22:51 USAAF, ?? & USSR Officers & 2 civilians walk quickly along building & past factory wreckage, thru oil refinery (?) industrial yard past men clearing debris among overhead pipes. Stand looking & talking, pan up to Astra Romana on overhead stone.

22:24:13 Slate: Roll 3 Visit 15Sep44 Nicol. 3 sedans leaving past laborers repairing bombed / cratered road w/ hand shovels & picks. Views of wrecked buildings. Men / MAAF officers viewing & talking. Damage.
22:25:15 Slate: Roll 4 same. MS & CUs of collapsed building damage & destruction of buildings, tanks & pipes.
22:26:33 Slate: Roll 5 same. Destruction.
