Arson Demonstration MRL December 4th, 1944 (Magnesium Powder) Crate & soldier puts lid against front. Small can of fine powder, CU w/ fingers. Powder from bottle poured on center of crate & powder from can put over. Lid put in place. 17:46:39 Civilian & military officers standing in field, pan to crate & man liighting. Crate ignites & violent white smoke out from inside crate which is charring against front. 17:47:58 Paper bag w/ wire inside crate. Wire handled. Large wooden shed, explosion & smoke out turning black w/ flames burning entire structure. Men watching from distance. Office of Strategic Services; OSS; 1940s; WWII; Training; NOTE: Poor focus & quality w/ graininess but usable as spy footage. Also occasional shutter problems.
