Two Black men dragging long sacks & picking bending over; women working & children picking. Weighing sacks as whites watch. Loading into wagon & shaken out of sack. Son rides out of field on load. 20:15:05 Cotton picking machine on tractor moving thru field & vacuuming cotton into screened container. 20:15:34 Prairie Gin on side of building; truck arrives w/ load of cotton & pipe moved in to suck up the cotton from the truck. Int. w/ cotton gins working taking seeds out, dropped into pile; cotton thru pipe to large bin. Cotton from bin into large pressed bales, turned on turn table & wrapped w/ metal bands.
