Launching of the African Comet. African Comet was built at Pascagoula, Mississippi. by the Ingalls Shipbuilding Corp. She was later acquired by the Navy as a liberty ship & was renamed SS Arthur Middleton. Various shots launching ceremony, ship in water, down ways w/ bunting on bow; African Comet on prow.
