The Sinking Of The Squalus Aerials over water w/ many small boats & rescue ship Falcon. Crewmen rescued from escape hatch in turret of US submarine by diving bell lowered from rescue ship Falcon. Falcon crowded w/ people - crewman wrapped in blanket arrives on dock. Salvage boats attempt to retrieve submarine - nose of vessel emerges above water level w/ number 192 clearly visible; but submarine sinks in cloud of bubbles.
