VO says that by nodding their heads they’ve agreed to an “oral contract” & gives main facets of a contract - ‘mutual assent’, ‘competent parties’, ‘legal bargain’, ‘consideration’. Boys look at notes for agreement on desk, agree, shake hands w/ employer. 15:22:44 Ed pulls up at curb in convertible; building w/ large billboard in background, traffic past, gets out & looks at used cars. Salesman gives him purchase agreement to read - VO describes main parts of written contract - Ed signs before witness & shakes hands w/ salesman.
