Firing up street into buildings, infantry walking along sidewalk & into buildings. Firing from street into buildings. 04:54:59 Civilians putting up Proclamation No. 1 on walls (in English & German). German POWs marched ahead of jeep thru town. Women reading proclamation. Soldiers entering building; searching German army prisoners. 04:56:02 LIB 5351. 11Apr45 Capture of Fretter (?), Germany. Heavy white smoke out of town building beyond church seen from above on hillside. Many roofs in town w/ damage from bombings & fire. Black troops (6th Platoon, Co K, 394th Battle Regt) descending hillside w/ rifles at ready, past camera. Machine gun firing from dug in position. 04:58:17 LIB 5352. 10Apr45 Wollsbach (?), Germany. Tank overturned on collapsed bridge. Troops looking at it.. Men dug in beside roadway on river side, building burning beyond them. Firing & clamoring to another dirt bank & running forward.
