Explosions from bombs seen beyond chimney & building rooftops. Bombers overhead. Very large barrel of gun raised; flak in sky around planes. Flares falling & fire burning on ground as German tanks and trucks move up by night. 20:02:08 Buildings in city collapsed as bombed. Daytime & German soldiers thru destroyed city w/ buildings smoking. 20:02:35 MS German paratroops pose along roadside, CUs; German tanks, motorcycles past on country road some covered w/ camouflage.
