Sign: Nach Frankenberg. Hundreds or thousands of German POWs gathered on road to Frankenberg; POWs in line loaded into trucks. MCUs German prisoners looking relieved. GI reaching into truck with cane. GIs herding POWs uphill as they run to truck. Truck drives off with German officer in front. American army cameraman filming young German soldier. Sign ‘Frankenau”. Camouflage truck full of POWs. POWs’ hands poke through slits in truck to wave goodbye to comrades - pan to large group left behind. LS trucks of German prisoners past red-roofed village.
