Troops rest by half-trank. 12:02:57 GIs walk over narrow remains of bridge over river; German POWs guarded, searched & I.D checked by GIs. German POWs crossing river. Captured German officers sitting on grassy hillside with hundreds of German soldiers behind. 12:03:47 Stevens standing w/ Lt. Colonel & ?? by bridge; CUs. Troops in village square; German prisoners marching past & pile of German captured weapons. Germans loaded into cart on cobble stoned street.
